TriCards!
Welcome to TriCards!
TriCards is a game in which you gamble your points against the
Computer. The game starts and you place your bet (which is limited to
the number of points you have). The games uses a deck of cards (A-10
amd K) from a regular deck, aside from the Queen and Jack, Aces equal
one, Kings equal zero.
The game board is displayed with the computer having 3 cards and
you having 4 cards, three regular game cards and one bonus card. The
game starts by prompting you to flip over any one of your three regular
cards and the remaining in succession in any order. The object is to
form a three-digit number. The first card flipped is the first digit,
the second card flipped is the second digit, etc. After you have formed
your three-digit number you will be prompted for your bonus card. If
you use your bonus card you are penalized points, but you have the
option to exchange the bonus card (if good) with any of your digits in
your three-digit number.
The Computer does the same but has no bonus card to use. If
your three-digit number is higher than the Computer's, you win 2 times
your bet, and your three-digit number is added to a cumulative total.
If your number is lower than the Computer's, you lose your bet, and your
three-digit number is subtracted from your cumulative total.
The Champion TriCards Player is the player with the highest
cumulative total to date. Point Scores are kept on a monthly top ten list.
